Wildlife: Accidental Discovery

Harlequin Duck Maine

When I started photography, I really had little to no interest with wildlife. I was more interested in perusing landscape type photos. Fast forward to Winter 23, bored and barren landscapes sent me searching for something new. Purely by accident I had begun taking an interest in birds.

Wildlife photography required a much different skill set than I was used to. I love a challenge. I continue to learn and improve every day. Hoping to see some large game this winter.

I started with small fast birds, then to ducks and waterfowl, and anything in the woods that is in my area.
