Montauk Point Light

August this year my girlfriend and I need a quick break. We took the ferry from Bridgeport over to Port Jefferson and explored Long Island for a few days. We spent time at the beautiful beaches and drove all the way out to Montauk.

I got my first decent shot of a baby deer on this trip. Actually, got many. It was crazy how many deer were around.

Montauk Point Lighthouse was breathtaking. One of the nicest I have visited. Opted out of the indoor tour as the wait was over an hour long. Oh well next time.

The drive back from Montauk to Port Jeff was one of the hardest I’ve ever made. Exhausted from exploring, unfamiliar roads, and NY drivers were a formidable combination.

Pulled into Port Jeff just before sunset. We got a quick bite before our ferry and then the skies lit up.
